Vehicles

Vehicles are ordered from a Garage and turn sweeping into driving. The first one is barely better than a good broom; the last one clears dozens of hexes per trip and funds your robot army.

All vehicles need a Garage ($200). One garage serves every vehicle you own.

Which vehicles are worth it?

Skip the Push Sweeper unless your broom is still weak. A 55 kg Extra Wide Broom with Long Reach clears hexes about as fast, and the $500 for garage + sweeper is better spent on a Pressure Chamber and solar tracker, which triples the value of everything you collect from then on.

The Lunar Sweeper ($2,500) is the first big jump: three brushes and a 1,200 kg hopper. The Mega Vacuum Rover ($6,000) is the one to save for — most runs go straight from broom or Lunar Sweeper to the Mega Rover and use it until JONAS robots take over. The Crew Transport ($2,000) does not clean at all, but it is by far the fastest way to explore, so buy it when the flag hunt begins.

Garage upgrades

Upgrades are per vehicle and do not transfer, so invest in the vehicle you are keeping.

UpgradeEffect
Tuned MotorsRetuned wheels: higher top speed and faster acceleration.
Big Hopper / Bigger HopperIncreases dust tank size (the Mega Vacuum Rover gains about +30% per step).
Turbo KitStronger boost (Shift) — around 150% of cruising speed.
Cruise ControlPress C to hold your speed without holding W. Essential for long lanes.
Suction ControlUnlocks higher suction settings: a wider cleaning strip at the cost of top speed.
Lights / FloodlightsBrighter headlights (L) for the long lunar night.
Quick ReleaseUnloads the hopper faster when you park at the garage chute.

Driving, suction & unloading

  • F enters and exits. Switch the brushes or suction on after getting in — vehicles start with cleaning off.
  • Shift boosts, C toggles cruise control (after the upgrade), L toggles lights.
  • Mouse wheel changes the Mega Rover's suction: Eco, Normal, High, Max and Full. Higher suction = wider strip, lower top speed.
  • Unload by parking in the Garage bay; the hopper empties into the chute and out of the garage's output.
  • You can recall any vehicle you own from the Garage menu, wherever you left it.
  • Press M while driving for a high overhead view — you can keep steering in it, which is ideal for lanes and spotting flags.
Suction mode and speed on the vehicle HUD. High suction trades about 3–8 km/h for a much wider strip.
