Push Sweeper

The entry-level sweeper. Cheap, slow, and honestly only marginally better than a good broom.

Last verified: November 2026 · Steam release build

Overview

The Push Sweeper is the first thing you can order from a Garage. Its 100 kg hopper means one full tank is worth about $100 at base prices, which feels huge right after a toothbrush. You have to switch the brushes on before it collects anything, and the boost helps on the long run back to the garage.

Its weakness is width. A fully upgraded Extra Wide Broom is close in practice, and many players find a 55 kg broom with Long Reach clears hexes just as fast. If your broom is already strong, it is usually better to put the $500 (garage + sweeper) into a Pressure Chamber and solar and come back to vehicles with the Lunar Sweeper or the Mega Vacuum Rover.

Garage upgrades

Every vehicle has its own upgrade track in the Garage. Upgrades do not carry over when you buy a bigger vehicle, so only invest heavily in the one you will keep.

UpgradeEffect
Tuned MotorsRetuned wheels: higher top speed and faster acceleration.
Big Hopper / Bigger HopperIncreases dust tank size (the Mega Vacuum Rover gains about +30% per step).
Turbo KitStronger boost (Shift) — around 150% of cruising speed.
Cruise ControlPress C to hold your speed without holding W. Essential for long lanes.
Suction ControlUnlocks higher suction settings: a wider cleaning strip at the cost of top speed.
Lights / FloodlightsBrighter headlights (L) for the long lunar night.
Quick ReleaseUnloads the hopper faster when you park at the garage chute.

Tips

  • Buy it if you are on a weak broom or playing co-op and want a second collector quickly.
  • Turn the brushes on — the vehicle does nothing in drive-only mode.
  • Park in the Garage bay to empty; the dust drops into the garage chute and follows whatever belt you attached.
