Progression

Moon Sweepers has no character levels. Progression is the climb up a ladder of tools, machines and robots, where each rung multiplies how fast you clean or how much each kilo is worth. Knowing the ladder tells you what to save for next.

Two kinds of progress

Every purchase improves one of two things. Collection is how many kilos you gather per minute: bigger tools, vehicles, robots. Value is how much each kilo is worth: economy upgrades, sand and stone. Collection upgrades feel better, but value upgrades compound — a ×3 Pressure Chamber also triples everything your future vehicles and robots collect. The best runs alternate: improve collection until production is the bottleneck, then improve value.

Money benchmarks

  • $1,000 earned — you should own the Extra Wide Broom and both Region Bounty levels.
  • $10,000 earned — at least one sand and stone line running, all Market Contracts bought.
  • $100,000 earned — Mega Vacuum Rover upgraded, two or more lines, first JONAS working.
  • $1,000,000 earned — dozens of JONAS; money is no longer a constraint.
Tip

Moon progress

The other progress bar is the moon itself: the percentage of 163,841 hexes finished. It barely moves for the first hours — after a full first session of brooms and vehicles we had just under 400 hexes, about 0.24%. It only takes off with JONAS, and then it races: 1% → 10% → 50% → 100% over two AFK nights. See Sectors & Regions.

Hidden and chained unlocks

  • Some Upgrade Matrix entries show a question mark until you buy the one before (Supplier Network reveals Luna Exchange).
  • Movement speed unlocks jump height and the helmet lamp upgrades; later suit items include the jetpack and night vision.
  • Each vehicle's upgrades are separate — buying a bigger vehicle starts its upgrade track from zero.
  • Tools are unlocked per player in co-op, even though money is shared.
