Robot Vacuum Mk2

Overview

The Mk2 doubles the price and almost doubles the area. Because the outer ring is the largest, the third ring alone adds 18 hexes. It is the better buy if you have the money, especially for clearing a large flat area where you plan to build a factory, or for clearing awkward mountain slopes that are miserable to sweep by hand.

Mk2s are a stepping stone. Once your income passes about $20,000 per session, JONAS robots replace them entirely because they need no belts and never stop working.

Tips

• Use them to clear future factory floors next to a station.
• Run their belts through a merger into your sand/stone line rather than straight to a packager for 3–7× the value.
