JONAS

Overview
JONAS is the end-game. Each one scrubs the moon with six arms, finishes a hex, moves to the nearest dusty hex and repeats forever. When its tank is full it launches a capsule rocket at the emptiest of the nearest Capsule Catchers anywhere on the moon. Without a catcher it simply waits, which is why your first JONAS should always come with a catcher.
Hexes cleaned by JONAS count toward the moon percentage and, when you are nearby, toward your personal 'help clean' achievements. Place them across the frontier of unclean ground and let them spread out. A few dozen JONAS feed a large factory comfortably; around 100 left running overnight cleared roughly 30% of the moon, and a few hundred finished it in two AFK nights.
Capsule Catcher throughput
Each catcher accepts a landing roughly every 9 seconds. If its storage is full, robots that target it stop and wait. Keep a few catchers unconnected or wired to a packager as overflow so they always sell and never back up.
Known quirks
Early builds had robots stop working when you travelled far away and left many hexes stuck at '0%' even though they looked clean. Patches have fixed most of this: JONAS now works anywhere on the moon. If a hex still looks clean but will not register, placing a fresh JONAS on it or sweeping the last specks yourself finishes it. Hundreds of robots can cause heavy lag, so you may prefer adding them in batches.
Tips
- Always build at least one Capsule Catcher first — JONAS waits idle without one.
- Spread new robots along the edge of unclean territory instead of stacking them next to the station.
- Late game, money stops mattering: sell dust directly and spend everything on more JONAS.
