Overview
The Household Broom almost doubles your sweep width and triples capacity. It is the first tool where locking the rotation with L and running back and forth in lanes feels efficient, and it is the first tool that can realistically finish a hex so you collect the $10 region bonus.
Pay the $30 to double it to 6 kg straight away. Once you also own the Wide Broom and a second or third tool belt slot, keep the Household Broom equipped as a spare container — fill the main broom, switch, fill this one, then head home with both full.
The multi-tool container trick
Each tool on your belt has its own container, and that container still holds dust when the tool is not in your hands. With three belt slots you can carry the Extra Wide Broom, the Wide Broom and the Household Broom, filling them in sequence. Add one packed capsule carried by hand and a single trip can bring back 25–37 kg before any container upgrades are maxed.
Tips
- First upgrade ($30) immediately; second upgrade only if you plan to keep it as a spare container.
- Start finishing hexes with this broom — region bonuses outpace dust sales at this stage.
