Extra Wide Broom

Overview
The Extra Wide Broom is the biggest broom in the game and, fully upgraded, holds about 110 kg. Each container level doubles it, and the Dust Compactor adds another 15% on top, so it scales from 12 kg out of the box to 24, then 27.6, then 55.2, then roughly 110 kg.
At 55 kg you can clear one to two full hexes before emptying. That is enough to fund the whole mid-game — Pressure Chambers, solar and your first vehicle — without ever touching a sweeper. Even in the late game, when JONAS robots do the heavy lifting, you will come back to this broom to finish stubborn half-clean hexes the robots skip.
Reach trick
The broom head can be pushed out and pulled in. Extend it while running forward, then pull it toward you while running back, and each lane covers more ground than your feet do. It takes a little practice to keep the lines straight, but it noticeably shortens the run per hex.
Tips
- Buy the $60 container upgrade before anything else — 12 → 24 kg is the best value upgrade of the early game.
- Long Reach and Wide Heads (Cleaning tab) make every stroke wider for every tool you own.
- Auto Packer drops packed capsules at your feet when the broom is full, so you can keep sweeping and collect the pile afterwards.
